There are numerous applications for the use of our assisted evacuation devices, Stair Climbers and Evacuation Chairs in the healthcare sector.

Powered models can be used for access, evacuation and movement of people and goods. Ensuring a smooth and safe movement by just one person. This limits the risk of injury to assisting parties and requires far less people to move individuals and goods.

Our TRE-70 model takes up to 230kg and TRE-52 to 200kg.

The powered models can be used to ensure that in the whole of the healthcare sector, people can still gain clear and safe access going up and down stairs in emergency or in a general lift breakdown. No lift often means no access nor escape unless you have an alternative solution on hand. Models can be hired for the short term, often people look to hire out equipment when they have an unexpected lift breakdown, but it is generally advised to avoid lifts in an emergency. If this is a time when alternative equipment is not on hire, what happens then?

Our equipment is also fantastic for patient transport, such as ambulances. We have slim Stair Climber models available, specifically designed for these more specific requirements. People need to get to and from their homes to hospital or other units. There are a variety of models and we have designed adaptations to secure the chairs in the vehicles. This was done through working with our clients and understanding that it was an area that could really benefit from our Stair Climber range.
